Tom Lane became a receptionist at the front desk a year ago after a long career in security at Covenant Living at the Great Lakes. He does most of the training to share with others the way he supports the residents and Covenant Living as a whole. He predicts issues that might arise before they happen. Then he communicates with the staff so they know what’s coming. And he always puts a genuine smile and warm heart into every communication. Tom deserves the Inspired to Serve Award because he lives out the common purpose each and every day. He exemplifies the concept of customer service, going above and beyond in his job every single day.
