David Erickson President and CEO
Jeannie Justie Chief Financial Officer
Jeannie began her career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen LLP. She later joined Alexian Brothers Health Systems, where she rose to Senior Vice President of Finance, overseeing centralized accounting and support functions, as well as the CFOs of non-acute care operations. A CPA, Jeannie is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds a graduate certificate in executive ministry leadership formation from the Aquinas Institute of Theology.
Jay Hibbard Chief Growth and Communication Officer
Jay brings extensive experience in sales training, management, and marketing strategy, having worked with more than 50 continuing care retirement communities nationwide. His senior living career began at The Pines at Whiting before becoming Regional Director of Sales for ACTS Retirement-Life Communities. He later served as Vice President of Sales at Spectrum Consulting and President of Bluespire Senior Living (formerly Martino & Binzer), a senior living marketing and communications firm. Jay joined Covenant Living in 2016.
Bill Rabe Chief Information & Technology Officer
Bill joined Covenant Living in 2016 as Chief Information Officer. Before that, he spent 15 years at ACE Hardware Corporation in leadership roles, managing infrastructure for 5,000 retail stores and 15 warehouses. He was responsible for significant initiatives involving supply chain data center consolidations, cloud services, and telecommunications. After ACE, Bill provided CIO services as a consultant.
Darrell Baltimore Chief Operating Officer
Darrell brings over 25 years of experience in senior living and dining operations. In his role, Darrell oversees the operational aspects of Covenant Living’s communities nationwide, including resident life, dining services, facilities management, and skilled care. His approach emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, and trust at all levels, with a primary focus on enhancing the resident experience.
Before joining Covenant Living, Darrell held senior leadership positions at Vi Senior Living. He is a US Army veteran, having served with the 82nd Airborne Division, and holds a Master of Science in Long Term Care, Senior Housing, and Aging Services from the University of North Texas. He also earned his BA in Business Administration from the College of Charleston.
Fran Palma Chief Marketing & Digital Strategy Officer
Fran started his career in 1995, building eldercare databases and providing online marketing services. In 1999, he launched an online advertising department for Partner Communications, and in 2004, he joined Martino & Binzer to establish a digital department. Fran has provided strategic marketing planning to over 100 senior living organizations and frequently speaks at industry conferences on digital marketing, lead generation, and analytics. He joined Covenant Living in 2016.
Randy Gross Senior Vice President, Project Development
Randy began his career at UPS, overseeing environmental compliance, project management, and facility maintenance for distribution centers in Southern Illinois. In 2005, he joined Cardinal Health as a Systems Technology Manager, responsible for facility maintenance and capital expenditures. Randy moved to Brookfield Zoo in 2008, where he managed workgroups including HVAC technicians, carpenters, electricians, and life support engineers. He joined Covenant Living in 2011.
Elizabeth McLaren Sr. Vice President of Revenue-Cycle, Reimbursement and HCBS
Elizabeth McLaren joined Covenant Living in 2009 as National Director of Healthcare, overseeing third-party billing and supporting healthcare communities. Her role expanded in 2018 to include direct involvement in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Prior to Covenant Living, Elizabeth was a consultant through Frost Ruttenberg & Rothblatt (FR&R). A leader in the healthcare industry, she serves on several national committees and authored Long-Term Skilled Services: Applying Medicare’s Rules to Clinical Practice, a key resource on Medicare billing. Elizabeth and her family reside in Round Lake, Illinois, and are active members of St. Bede’s Catholic Church.
