Jen Krueger serves as the Director of Philanthropy for Shannondale of Knoxville & Maryville and brings more than two decades of experience in senior living leadership, resident engagement, and community relations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) and has worked across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Continuing Care Retirement Communities.
Jen previously served as Director of Recreation Services at Shannondale of Knoxville’s Healthcare Center from 2015–2017 before pursuing executive leadership opportunities with Five Star Senior Living, where she served in leadership roles from 2017–2021. Most recently, she served as the Life Enrichment Director at Shannondale of Maryville since 2021. Her professional expertise includes life enrichment, philanthropy, event planning, marketing, volunteer management, and building meaningful relationships that enhance the lives of older adults.
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Jen moved to Tennessee in 2014 and is proud to call East Tennessee home with her husband, 2 sons and 2 puppy dogs. She is passionate about serving others, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities that make a lasting impact for residents and their families.
