Kim earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Augustana College and holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Leadership from Park University. She brings more than 17 years of development experience in the nonprofit sector and joins Covenant following her most recent role at Peace Village, a senior living organization in Palos Park, where she served as Director of Fund Development & Volunteer Services for nine years.
A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) since 2018, Kim is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the West Suburban Philanthropic Network. She has also served on the board of directors for Spirito! Singers, a nonprofit choral organization.
Kim resides in Plainfield with her husband, two children, and their dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys music and plays both piano and clarinet.
